Whypark Day 15 - My First Dollar Earned From Adsense

Well today I'm just following up on my post about setting up Whypark on my site. Today is day 15 on the Whypark test, and I can say that I earned my first dollar from it. Google so far has indexed about 100+ pages so far, and still going. I'm not ranked on the first page of any keywords yet, but I picked some pretty broad terms like 'money'.

The visitor experience? I have Stat counter installed so I was able to see the what keywords this person came in from. Apparently this visitor found a page that was newly indexed so it ranked fairly high in Google for 'Entrepreneur'. After that the visitor moved on to read about 6 more articles on the website before clicking on an ad to exit the site. Overall time spent on site was about 4 minutes. So far so good, and I hope to be bringing more good news as time goes on.

Hello Mas Arip,

I'm currently only using 1 domain for my Whypark tests. The only income that is being generated from it is via Adsense so far. I have some referral links on some article pages, but those haven't gotten sales yet. I also have Konterra on the page as well, but it hasn't earned much either.

While the initial earnings from Adsense were great, I believe the keywords I'm targeting for the page is very competitive resulting in lower traffic from Google. Setting up a good niche, and article writing for the sites may produce better results. I'm only doing quick directory submissions for the Whypark site due to the fact that people with 100s of domains most likely won't write 1-2 for each domain.

Adsense revenue the last 2 months have decreased per click, but I'm getting about the same traffic/ctr as when I started. I'll be updating my earnings since the end of November is near.

Feel free to ask if you have other questions, and thanks for stopping by. =)

Hi Mitch thanks for replying,

After being adsense publisher from July, I'm about starting on park. As a new player, I have questions Mitch :

1. From your experience how many days whypark approve your domain.

2. How many a days you doing a quick directory submission ?, is it on free domain submission only ?, or you also submit to social bookmark?

3. Why aren't you using adwords ?

Thanks Mitch :D

1. From your experience how many days whypark approve your domain.

There is no approval time for Whypark. You purchase an account with 100 credits from Whypark, and you can start adding your domains immediately the same way you do to parked domain hosts. If you mean Google indexing it took less than a week for Google to start indexing.

2. How many a days you doing a quick directory submission ?, is it on free domain submission only ?, or you also submit to social bookmark?

I have submitted to quite a few directories, mostly free, and one sponsored listing. This was to get some anchor texts with Keywords to point back to the site to help with the SEO. Whypark pages are very SEO friendly.

3. Why aren't you using adwords?

I do not use adwords, as I just want to see what basic submission/left alone traffic would give me. If I use too many methods of driving traffic, I won't be able to track which methods really worked for the site.
